We are proud to share that Young Masters 2023 Alumna, Ebony Russell, has been featured in Artsy’s curated collection “Tabletop Sculpture” — a selection designed to “add a touch of artistic flair” to any interior. This thoughtfully assembled showcase highlights small-scale sculptures, ceramics, and collectibles that are perfect for desktops, shelves, or any tabletop surface. Ebony’s inclusion among such outstanding contemporary artists is both a recognition of her craft and a celebration of her distinct creative voice.

Known for her intricate, hand-piped porcelain works that appear like lavishly iced confections, Ebony brings a rich layer of conceptual depth to her practice. Her work challenges traditional ideas of femininity, authorship, and decoration — reclaiming domestic aesthetics through a lens of feminist empowerment and historical reflection.

This feature adds to a busy year for Ebony. Her solo exhibition, Decorated: The Sculptural Ceramics of Ebony Russell, is currently on view at 99 Bishopsgate, London, through 26 September 2025. Curated by Brookfield Properties as part of her Brookfield Properties Craft Award 2025 win, the show presents a dazzling display of her latest pieces and has been met with wide acclaim.
