Janice Blackburn is former Curator of contemporary Craft and Design at Sotheby’s and has also been a consultant curator at THE BOWES MUSEUM, Sudeley Castle, Chatsworth House, Liberty and other places. She worked as a design consultant to the Krug champagne House. For four years she installed works of contemporary craft and design into several reception areas in No 10, Downing Street. She wrote regularly for the Weekend Financial Times including a column ‘Work In Progress’. Her blog ‘theeyedoesntlie’ reflects many cultural interests including art and design fairs and exhibitions. She is a Fellow of the RCA.
