Winner of the 2002 Jerwood Drawing Prize, Adam Dant produces richly detailed brush and ink drawings. His fascination with the printed image and the satirical nature of his work, has prompted art critics to draw comparisons between Dant and the 18th-century figures, Jonathan Swift and William Hogarth. He studied at the Royal College of Art and the MS University Faculty of Fine Arts, India. Dant’s drawings can be found in public and private collections, including The Arts Council Collection, V&A, Museum of London, MoMA, Deutsche Bank and the San Diego Museum of Art.He has exhibited in many reputable establishments including Tate Modern, the Hayward Gallery, The New Art Gallery Walsall and the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
